Because as far as I know,no one gives away free books online,or anywhere else.So if you’re looking for free eBooks,you just put “free eBooks” in your browser,and you ought to receive several options.And this is one of them:freeebooks.net
Project Gutenberg. But you cannot get any books free unless the author has been deceased 70 years. Before that, the book is not in public domain. Authors are in the business of selling books. Respect their copyrights. Pax - C
