There was a time when natural gender selection was considered to be made up of old wives tales or based on superstition rather than science. The idea behind using different sexual positions (depending on which gender you want) is that shallow and deep penetration will result in the sperm spending more or less time in the acidic or hostile vaginal / reproductive tract.

So, if you want a girl baby, you’re pulling for the X sperm and you know that it can easily survive a long trip. Shallow penetration will help you to achieve this. The standard missionary or woman dominant with knees bent can achieve this, but feel free to use what works best for you. The idea is to give the Y sperm the longest trip as possible with the most shallow penetration.

But, if you want a boy, you’re pulling for the Y sperm and you want to create a short, painless trip. This is achieved through deep penetration. Most people use rear entry positions or modified missionary positioning where the woman places her legs at the man’s shoulders to allow for deeper penetration. No matter which position you use, placing a pillow underneath your pelvis can help.

Things You Can Do In Addition To Intercourse Positions:

There are other issues to address if you want to get the highest odds for success. As an acidic or high PH vagina and reproductive tract will be very hard on Y sperm, you’ll need to alkalize your body if you’re trying for a boy. Of course, for the highest odds of success, you should incorporate all of these methods into a regular regimen. This is not as hard as it sounds. You’ll just need to pinpoint ovulation first, then test your PH, make the necessary adjustments and, once you’re ready, use the appropriate positions to conceive.
